What each tool does

Google review link and QR code generator

Search for your business by name and town and you get your direct Google review link, the one that opens the review box straight away instead of your listing. You also get a QR code to print. Use it on a sign by the till, on a receipt, or in an email signature. It works for any Google listing and needs no account.

Review request templates

Wording you can copy for asking in person, by text, by email or on WhatsApp, and for signs. Each one is short and polite, and none of them offers a reward, because Google prohibits that. Change the details to sound like you.

Review score check

Type in your business and see your Google rating and review count turned into a score out of 100, with a comparison against nearby businesses. It is a quick way to see how far behind or ahead of your competitors you are before you do anything else.

A simple order to use them in

  1. Run the review score check to see where you stand against the places customers compare you with.
  2. Get your review link and print the QR code.
  3. Pick the template that matches how you meet customers, and start asking.
  4. If you want it to run without anyone having to remember, a tap-or-scan card at the till does the same job every time.

Before you start

Ask everyone, not only the customers you think were happy, and never offer a discount or gift in exchange. Our guides explain why: how to ask for Google reviews, incentives for Google reviews and what review gating is. Working in a particular trade?
