Cookies are small files stored on your device. This page explains the ones Dazenga uses. We use no advertising cookies, no social-media pixels, and no third-party analytics.
Strictly necessary
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-* (authentication) | Dazenga / Supabase | Keeps you signed in to the app and protects against cross-site request forgery. Only set once you log in. | Session; up to about a week, refreshed on use |
These are required for the app to work and cannot be switched off. They are not used for tracking.
Functional
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
dz_ref | Dazenga | If you arrive through a partner’s referral link, this remembers which partner referred you so they can be credited if you later sign up. It holds only a short referral code. It is not used to track your browsing or for advertising. | About 400 days, refreshed on each visit |
dz_cc | Dazenga | Remembers your choice in the cookie notice, so we don’t ask again and can honour a decision to decline the dz_ref cookie. | About 400 days |
The dz_ref cookie is only set if you follow a link that contains a referral code. If you do not want it, choose Decline in the cookie notice, use your browser’s private mode, or delete it in your browser settings. Declining does not affect your use of the Service.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies through their settings. Blocking the strictly-necessary cookie will stop you being able to log in. For general information about cookies, see aboutcookies.org or the ICO’s guidance.
